What does romance mean to you?  My husband and I have been together for 10 years. Tonight I went into the bedroom to get a book and ended up being tickled until I begged mercy. Earlier he brought me a coffee from my favorite coffee shop. I’ve been working hard lately and he thought I needed a treat.

I know it doesn’t surprise my friends that I have a good relationship. After all, writers should write what they know - right?  How can you really write a good romance when you do not share one with your significant other?

I love being romantic. I don’t understand how anyone could be too busy or too apathetic to want to be romantic - but that is just me.

My husband and I make sure we share our love at least once a day through words, physical contact, and gestures.  It makes life worth living.
