”But just as the bestseller classics are the exception to the world of publishing, there are writers like Katherine Hunter that show there are exceptions in e-publishing.” Review My Romance Story.com

I have learned the novice can often see things that the expert overlooks. All that is necessary is not to be afraid of making mistakes, or of appearing naive.
Abraham Maslow
If you’ve come to my website, then the question on your mind is, “How can I tell first time, untrained authors that they have a good chance of being published.” It is easy, I am a firm believer in Maslow’s theories. In the seven years that I have been in the publishing world, I’ve seen many first time authors sell their manuscript in less than one year. I teach writers how to do it.

As a publisher, I have turned down 3000 manuscripts in row - when I very desperately needed something to fill the publishing list. There are 10 mistakes that keep writers from being published. They are not secrets. You do not need to pay thousands of dollars for them.
As an Editor, I have worked on many manuscripts that other editors refused to do. I find that any book can be line edited if you give an author the ‘benefit of the doubt’ and teach them a few editor’s tricks, most will learn to turn a professionally polished manuscript in within a few weeks.
As an Instructor, I have taught more than 3500 students through online courses. Most are talented, dedicated, but confused. They are bombarded with tutorials that tell them what to do, but not how to do it. It is a case of the blind leading the blind. An author who teaches to pad their income can only tell students what they experienced in their own writing journey. I believe that writers should only learn from editors, or writers with more than ten books published through at least 5 publishers.
